Omar Alkilani and his band "Mood Band" were featured in a UNHCR Türkiye video report. The video describes how a Syrian family of musicians for generations formed "Mood Band" after fleeing to Istanbul five years ago. In the video, UNHCR interviewed the band members and filmed them playing music.
Turkey, hosting nearly 4 million refugees, primarily from Syria, has become a new home where they continue to share their rich culture and music.
