Omar Alkilani appeared for the second time on Turkish Açık Radyo 95's program "Göçmenin Müziği, Müziğin Göçü" ("Music of the Migrant, Migration of Music"), presented by Evrim Hikmet Öğüt. In a full episode, they discussed Mood Band, formed by Syrian musicians in Istanbul, and the opportunities for migrant musicians to make music in the city. Evrim Hikmet Öğüt is an Associate Professor at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, specializing in musicology and migration studies, and she was awarded the ICTM 2022 Best Article for her research on Syrian street music in Istanbul.
