Guitar Workshops & Teaching Experience

In 2018, Omar Alkilani commenced his teaching career at the Arabic Institute for Music and Singing, collaborating with Mr. Maher Nanaa, the founder of the institute. Mr. Nanaa had previously taught Omar’s mentor in Aleppo, Syria, where he was associated with the Sabah Fakhri Music Institute. This collaboration marked a significant milestone in Omar’s teaching journey.

Omar’s teaching career expanded as he conducted numerous successful guitar workshops at various esteemed venues, including Culter TR Studios. His expertise was also shared at Si Bimol Music School in Istanbul, where he taught guitar techniques and methodology. In 2022, Omar initiated his private guitar classes at YOLO Art Center, further establishing his presence in the music education sector. He also introduced virtual online music classes, connecting with students from around the globe.

Additionally, Omar has been involved in professional music education at New Vision International Schools during the 2022–2023 academic year and at PARC International Schools for the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 academic years. His contributions to music education reflect his dedication to nurturing the next generation of musicians through both private instruction and institutional teaching.

In 2025, Omar expanded his reach by starting to teach guitar and offer workshops and courses hosted by "Artists" platform in Istanbul. These courses attracted guitarists from various countries and were conducted in Turkish, English, and Arabic, reinforcing his role as a multilingual educator with a global impact.
